Can I burn my garbage?

Noburning garbage is illegal and can be dangerous. Breathing in smoke from burning garbage can cause or worsen asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema and may damage children's lungs. Burning plastic also releases many cancer-causing agents into the air that you and your neighbors breathe.
