The 11^th Annual Christmas Golf Cart Parade is an amazing sight of festive elaborately decorated golf carts making their way through historic downtown to spread holiday cheer. The parade loops around West Plant, entering east bound from Park Avenue and looping westbound on Woodland Street. Spectators should stake their favorite viewing spot along West Plant Street and bring a chair for comfort. 

Following the Parade, the golf cart entries will park throughout downtown for bystanders to get a closer look at the holiday-themed masterpieces.

The West Orange Junior Service League and the City of Winter Garden host the event. 

ROAD CLOSURES

Please note that select roads will be CLOSED in the historic downtown area for this event and other events, December 1 - 2:

West Plant Street from Dillard Street to Park Avenue, as well as adjoining side streets, will be CLOSED for the Winter Garden Christmas Golf Cart Parade. The road closures are in effect from Friday, December 1, at 2:00 pm through approximately 11:00 pm on December 2. In addition, Tremaine Street between Lakeview Avenue and Highland Avenue will be closed on Saturday, December 2, from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

The road closures are due to the following community holiday events: Light Up Winter Garden (December 1, 6:00-9:00 pm), Winter Garden Christmas Parade (December 2, 10:00 am) ,outdoor Holiday Market (December 2, 1:00-4:00 pm), and Winter Garden Christmas Golf Cart Parade (December 2, 6:00 pm). 

PARKING – Always FREE!

Parking is always free downtown, including at the public three-level parking garage (160 S. Boyd St.), 117-space parking lot (37 N. Boyd St.), Sam Williams Little League Complex (415 S. Park Ave.), and a little further up the road at Veterans Memorial Park (420 S. Park Ave.).

Parking along West Plant Street from Dillard Street through Park Avenue, and a portion of the adjoining side streets, will not be available due to the road closures.

SAFETY RULES

Parade spectators are asked to not cross West Plant Street while the parade is in progress. Golf Carts travel close together along the parade route and can easily be distracted by all the sights and sounds and may not be able to stop in time. Please wait the short timeframe until the parade concludes to cross West Plant Street.

Open containers of alcoholic beverages on public streets are strictly prohibited. Alcohol beverages are only permissible within the boundaries of a restaurant or bar. This is a non-alcohol event.

COME EARLY FOR THE DOWNTOWN HOLIDAY MARKET 

Come early to the Winter Garden Christmas Golf Cart Parade to secure a parking spot and to shop at the downtown Holiday Market, 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Downtown will be PEDESTRIAN-ONLY during that time providing a fun way to shop at the holiday market vendors, enjoy the festive downtown decorations and themed photo locations, and dine in the festive atmosphere.
